Goaltender Development Opportunities
Summer / Pre-Season Development
FYRA is pleased to announce summer goaltender development opportunities for registered FYRA and ORA goaltenders.
This is offered FREE OF CHARGE by FYRA and will consist of four bi-weekly ice times in July and August and four weekly ice times in September as a pre-season tune-up. These ice times are available for established U10, U12, U14, and U16 goaltenders. We’ll be focusing on positioning, movement, angles, goalie ring, and more during this time.

Friday Morning Power Skating
Goaltending Coach Robb Clarke will be at every Friday morning Power Skating session offering goaltender specific development opportunities. Please watch your emails and FYRA’s social channels for information regarding free Power Skating registration.

Goalie Mentor Series
Offered beginning in the 2021-2022 season, FYRA will once again be offering our Goalie Mentor Series in the 2023-2024 season. Goaltenders will have the opportunity to join a series of video calls with female goaltenders to learn about their experience as a goaltender and engage them in a Q&A.
